Return and Refund Policy for Bright Ideas Lighting

Eligibility for Returns
Returns are accepted for eligible products under the following conditions:
- The return request must be initiated within 15 days from the date the item is received by the customer.
- Products must be returned in perfect condition, unused, and free from any damage or alterations.
- All original packaging, labels, and safety seals must remain intact and undamaged.
- Returns are permitted without explanation, provided the above criteria are met. However, for issues such as defective items, incorrect products received, or non-conformance with the product description, customers may also qualify for returns.
Exceptions to eligibility include:
- Custom-made or personalized items.
- Products classified as non-returnable due to hygiene, safety, or regulatory reasons (e.g., certain electrical components).
- Items returned separately from multiple purchases from the same order, which may incur additional processing fees.
Return Process
To initiate a return, customers must follow these steps:
- Contact our customer support team via email at admin@brightideaslighting.store within the 15-day timeframe, providing the order number, reason for return (if applicable), and photographic evidence of the product's condition.
- Upon approval, a return authorization and shipping label will be provided. Customers are responsible for packaging the item securely to prevent damage during transit.
- Ship the item to the designated return address using the provided label. For multiple items from the same order, it is recommended to return them together to avoid potential additional shipping costs.
- Once the returned item is received and inspected to confirm it meets the eligibility criteria, the refund process will commence.
Note: Exchanges are not supported at this time. Customers seeking a different product are advised to place a new order and process the original item as a return for refund.
Refunds
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.
- The full purchase price, excluding any original shipping fees, will be refunded upon successful inspection of the returned item.
- Processing time for refunds is typically 5–10 business days after receipt of the return, depending on the payment provider.
- In cases where returns do not meet the eligibility conditions, the item may be returned to the customer at their expense, or the refund may be denied.
